Ruby E. Frey

Ruby E. Frey, 88, of Bloomingdale, Ohio died Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at Gables Care Center. She was born May 23, 1921 in Grantsville, WV a daughter of the late Levi P. & Myrtle Mae Nichols Starcher. She was a member of Christian Church of Unionport. Preceding Ruby in death were her husband William E. “Bus” Frey on December 5, 2003; son David William Frey; four brothers Thurl, Cecil, Rex & Ottie Starcher; and three sisters Vinnie Julian, Vera Nester & Ora Burkhead.

Surviving are her sons Ervin E. “Gene” (Betty) Frey of Bloomingdale, Gary E. (Karen) Frey of Lakeland, FL & Terry L. (JoAnn) Frey of Bainbridge, OH; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and one brother Orbrey (Lee) Starcher of Carlisle, PA.

Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road on Friday  2-4 & 6-8 p.m. where services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Hubert Granger officiating. Burial at Unionport Cemetery.
