Sue A. Babela

Sue A. (Fritch) Babela, 89, of Wintersville, OH died Saturday, February 21, 2009 in New Smyrna Beach, FL.  She was born March 5, 1919 in Webster, PA a daughter of the late Michael & Julia Dzyak Fritch. Sue and her late husband, George E. Babela, were the retired owners of the former Babela-Keller Co. in Steubenville. She was a member of Holy Transfiguration Orthodox Church. In addition to her beloved husband and parents, Sue was preceded in death by her sister Mary Yashko and brother Charles Fritch.

Surviving are her children Marilyn J. Babela of New Smyrna Beach and George M. (Jeannie) Babela of Wintersville; grandson George M. Babela, Jr.; sisters Julia Mellott (Michael) Pleska & Helen Minnick both of Wintersville; and brother George Fritch of California. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home on  Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11:30 a.m.  with Rev. John Kopcha officiating. Entombment at Fort Steuben.
