



Tom Eroshevich, 66 of Amsterdam, Ohio, formerly of Wintersville, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at West Penn surrounded by his family. He was born September 9, 1943 in Steubenville and a 1961 graduate of Catholic Central High School. In 2003 Tom retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. cold strip shipping department with 40 years of service. He was a longtime member of Red Oaks Golf Club; P.A.C. and Jefferson County Sportsmans Club. Tom was inducted into the CCHS Hall of Fame in 1989 for his athletic endeavors, having been a three sport letterman and M.V.P. (basketball, football & baseball) while in high school. He also was a stand-out baseball player for Steubenville Post 33 and attended the University of Detroit on a football scholarship. In later years Tom was an avid golfer, fisherman and hunter.
Tom is survived by his wife Ann Zilly Eroshevich; daughter Kerri (David) Sadd of Avon, Ohio; son Tommy (Sasha) Eroshevich of Powell; four granddaughters Audrey, Karlie & Lia Sadd and Alena Eroshevich; mother Mary C. Krulcik Eroshevich; brother Robert (Norina) Eroshevich of Bloomingdale; and sisters Arlene (Nick) Cullen of Pittsburgh and Mary Alexis (Bob) Murray of Dublin, Ohio. Tom was preceded in death by his father Alex.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral liturgy with mass 10 a.m. Friday at Blessed Sacrament Church with Msgr. Kurt Kemo officiating. Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
