Vera E. Fisher

Vera E. Fisher, 90, of Bloomingdale, Ohio died Sunday, June 22, 2008 at Sienna Woods.  She was born March 8, 1918 in Wheeling, WV a daughter of the late John W. and Luva Culbertson Corder.  Vera was preceded in death by her husband Donald C. Fisher and sister Edith Dunn.  Vera was a member of First Baptist Church of Steubenville, which her father helped to build and attended Open Door Baptist Church of Colliers, WV.  She was a member of Dip-n-Dive Square Dance Club and an avid duplicate bridge player.  Surviving are two sons John (Mary) Fisher of Unionport, OH and Donald (Kathy) Fisher, Jr. of Bloomingdale, OH; two daughters Saundra (Leonard) Tate of Wintersville, OH and Diane Stern of Leesburg, FL; eight grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren and one great great great grandchild.  Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville Tuesday 7-9 p.m. where a service will be held Wednesday 10 a.m. with Rev. Larry Garrison officiating.  Burial at Union Cemetery.
