Wade W. Ringer, Sr.

Wade W. Ringer, Sr., 84, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2012 at his home of natural causes. He was born October 5, 1927 in Terra Alta, WV a son of the late Norris Porter & Lily Gaye Rodeheaver Ringer. He was a retired records supervisor for Ohio Power and Army veteran of WWII. Wade was a member of Ohio Power Veterans Assn. and American Legion Post 557. Preceding Wade in death were his wife Sallie L. Robinson Ringer in 1987 and brother George Ringer.

Wade is survived by his son Wade W. Ringer, Jr. of Steubenville; daughter Susan (James) Evans of Avella, PA; Three grandchildren Jaime Quass, Jessica Evans and James Wade Evans; great grandson Krsjun James Gates and sister Betty Sanders of Steubenville, OH.

Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home in Wintersville on Thursday 6 – 8 p.m. where a service will be held Frriday 10 a.m. with Pastor Randy Sells officiating.  Burial at Union Cemetery.
