Deborah Kalinowski Obituary

Deborah L. “Debbie” Grim Kalinowski, 60 of Mingo Junction, Ohio went home to be with the Lord in Heaven on February 16, 2019.  Debbie was a devoted mother, loving GaGa to her beloved grandchildren, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.  She was born March 11, 1958, the daughter of Paul and the late Patricia M. Gaydosh Grim of Mingo Junction.  Debbie lived in Mingo her entire life and graduated from Mingo High School in 1976.  Debbie enjoyed spending time with her family.  She was an active and caring mother always taking the time to participate in the many activities her children and grandchildren were involved in.  Nothing made her happier than being around family and friends.  She was known for countless unselfish acts and always doing for others. She was a devoted and dedicated member of First Westminster Presbyterian Church where she was recently ordained an elder of the church. She was a faithful and active member of the church choir, The Ohio Valley Chorale, a member of the Presbyterian Women's Club, and a Chairperson for Congregational Care.  She held fundraisers and fellowship luncheons throughout the year.  She will be deeply missed at sporting events and school activities for her grandchildren.  She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile.  Make no mistake about it, everyone knew Debbie, but everyone loved GaGa.  She is survived by her children Trevor (Danielle) Kalinowski, Michelle (Brian) Timmons and Kristen (companion, Randy Hines) Kalinowski all of Steubenville; four grandchildren Ty and Vinny Kalinowski, Camden and Mila Timmons; father Paul Grim and sister Cathy (Mark) Julian both of Mingo Junction; a niece Kayla Ellis and nephew Brandon Julian.  Friends may call at the First Westminster Presbyterian Church, 235 N. 4th Street, Steubenville on Tuesday from 3 – 8 p.m., and on Wednesday from noon until the time of funeral service at 1 p.m.  Rev. Jason Elliott officiating.  Burial will be private at Oakland Cemetery.  Memorials and monetary gifts may be directed to the family -or- First Westminster Presbyterian Church.
