Joyce M. Evans

Joyce M. Evans, 85, of Wintersville died Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Life Line Hospital.  She was born in Vandergrift, PA on August 23, 1932 a daughter of the late Wes and Clara Scandola Snodgrass.  Preceding Joyce in death was her husband Augustus H. “Gus” Evans, Jr. on January 31, 2011. Surviving are her children Elaine (Dave) Spear of Wintersville, OH, Brenda (Greg) Hough of Imperial, PA, Ken (Lynn) Evans of Doylestown, PA and Marilyn (Doug) Scheaffer of Wintersville, OH; four grandchildren Katie Hough of Washington D.C., Brad (Irene) Hough of Hudson, OH, Ashley Evans of Doylestown, PA  and Ethan Evans of Doylestown, PA; sister Barbara (Don) Yoder of Dayton, OH; two nieces Pam (Tim) Stewart and Chris (David) Reese and two nephews Walter “Butchie” (Marlene) Watkins and Don (Tina) Watkins.  Friends may call at Dunlope – Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at noon with Pastor Sam Davis officiating.  Burial at Fort Steuben.  Memorial donations may be directed to Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517.
