Kathleen "Kathy" Corabi

Kathleen “Kathy” (“Macky”) Corabi, 65, of Wintersville passed away on Friday, January 3, 2020 at her residence.  She was born in Steubenville, Ohio on February 15, 1954 a daughter of the late James and Virginia Stolarczyk McMenamin.  She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, volunteered at Valley Hospice and was a member of Heather Twig.

Kathy had worked at Weirton Medical Center as a Medical Technician and The School of Bright Promise as a Teachers Aide.

She is survived by her husband Judge Joseph M. Corabi, whom she married August 3, 1979; sons Craig (Felicia) Corabi and Ryan (Leann) Corabi; daughter Attorney Krista (Steve) Spence; brother James (Jessie) McMenamin, Jr.; sister Karen (Ken) Petrella; grandchildren Elise, JoJo, Michael, Jack and Derek.

Kathy was a dedicated wife, mother and Mackey to her grandchildren. She had a knack for making everything fun and always made sure everyone was having a good time. She lived everyday to the fullest by bringing happiness to everyone who knew her. The family is honored to call her wife, mother, sister and grandmother. Kathy will be remembered by all as a genuine example of kindness, love and friendship. This legacy of love will endure, and never be forgotten by those who loved her.

Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville,  on Saturday 3-6 p.m. and Sunday 1-3:30 and 5:30-8 p.m. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be held 9:30 a.m. Monday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Entombment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
