Michael Paul McCullough Obituary

Michael Paul McCullough, 72, of Steubenville passed away on Monday, February 18, 2019 at Trinity West.  He was born in Steubenville on January 15, 1947 the son of the late Thomas and Rita Kenny McCullough.  He served in the U.S. Army from 1966-1968 and retired from American Electric Power in 2011 after 43 years of service. In addition to his parents Michael was preceded in death by his sister Joan-Marie Kohrman and his nephew Michael Kohrman, both of Fort Wayne, IN.  He is survived by his wife of 50 years Deborah J. Clark McCullough; children Shawn Paul (Elizabeth) McCullough of Moon Township, PA, Shannon Marie (Joseph) Clougherty of Mt. Lebanon, PA; Shay Loren (Carah) McCullough of Stow, OH and Shevin Michael (Shirley) of Tampa, FL; brother Joseph (Pam) McCullough of Columbus, OH and sister Barbara (Haughan) of Mesa, AZ; adoring grandchildren Aesling Elizabeth, Anya Bennett, Shannon Eileen, Moira Kenny, Zoey Evelyn, Tiernan Shawn, Mackenzie Shea, Claire Justine, Declan Paul and Amelia Mae and many loving nieces and nephews. Michael was an avid sports fan, particularly the Pittsburgh Pirates, Pittsburgh Steelers and Notre Dame Football.  He loved playing dice with his brothers-in law Matt and Rat “Bill” Clark.  His number one passion in life was spending time with his children and grandchildren.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: Teramana Cancer Center, Steubenville, OH.   Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH on Sunday from 1-4 p.m.  Funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 25, 2018, 10a.m. at St. Peters Catholic Church, Steubenville with Rev. Timothy Huffman officiating. We all loved Muck Daddy very very much and he will be missed by many. “33”.
