Matt P. Phillips

Matt Phillips passed from this Earth on Sunday, February 12 2023. Born in Steubenville Ohio on June 13 1989, Matt was 33 years old. Matt graduated from Steubenville High School in 2007. He was very active in school, a member of the National Honor Society, Thespians, Drama Club, the Big Red Band, Choir, and Golf.

Matt lived his short life to the fullest, skipping school often, usually opting to work instead. He loved operating heavy construction equipment at his last job working at Hollywood Center. Matt Phillips had an accident in 2007 which resulted in traumatic injury, cutting his life short. He leaves behind his parents Martin and Paula Phillips, sister Tayler Allen and brother in law Drew Allen, and his beloved nieces Emma and Liddy Allen. He also leaves behind many friends, most importantly Erin Southall, who was his treasured caregiver and friend.

He’s home now.
